Finnair Cabin Crew recruitment for 2027 is now open! We are looking to strengthen our group of cabin crew employees with knowledge of Japanese language and culture to join our Helsinki base. This Japanese speaking group will be dedicated to serve our Japanese routes as well as European and domestic scheduled flights. Employment contracts will be full-time permanent. As a cabin crew member, you are responsible for ensuring cabin safety and delivering excellent customer service on Finnair flights. Being a part of Finnair cabin crew means that you provide the best possible experience and meaningful encounters for our customers.


What we are looking for and what we expect from you:

・Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
・Excellent teamwork skills in a diverse environment
・Sales-oriented mindset and good communication skills
・Ability to work according to procedures and guidelines
・Resilience, persistence, and ability to adapt to changing situations


What is required to become a Cabin Crew Member at Finnair?

・Age of at least 18 years old
・Secondary education completed (upper secondary/vocational school)
・Fluency in Japanese and English, additional languages are an advantage
・Knowledge of Japanese culture
・Height minimum 160 cm and ability to reach 218 cm barefoot
・At least 1 year of experience in hospitality or customer service
・Good general health and the ability to work irregular hours and night shifts, including coping with stress related to circadian disruption. Minimum requirement EASA Part Med Cabin Crew and Finnair regulations.
・Normal colour vision and normal hearing, distant visual acuity using both eyes 0.7 or better (with or without corrective lenses)
・Ability to swim 40 meters
・When wearing a uniform, all visible tattoos must be fully covered, and all visible piercings must be removed (excl. earrings)
・Clean criminal record
・Valid Japanese or EU, EEA or Swiss passport allowing free worldwide travel
・Willing to live and work permanently in Finland and arrive to Helsinki Airport within one hour when on stand-by

Qualification

Is This You?

You could be a great fit if you:

• Have preferably 2+ years of experience in hospitality, customer service, aviation or another customer-facing role.

• Can reach a minimum height of 212 cm with your arms fully extended.

• Have completed at least 10 years of formal education, with official certificates or documentation.

• Are fluent in spoken and written English.

• Are naturally people-focused, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Take pride in doing things properly and following through on what you say you'll do.

• Enjoy working with people from different cultures and backgrounds.

• Are in good health and physically fit.

• Meet Qatar employment visa requirements and are ready to relocate to Doha, Qatar.
